Hi, Guys! How’s your first week without PBB? As for me, I can’t believe that it’s been ONLY a week since the Big Night. Been missing the Housemates so much.

Here are some update about their lives and projects.

MELASON IN LOVE



Melason In Love is a realiserye to be shown at ABS-CBN every morning at 10:00am with a Primetime recap on Saturdays. It will show the real life and love story of Melisa and Jason after winning PBB. Melisa and Jason doesn’t know about the show or else it wouldn’t be as “real”. They are made to believe that the show and cameras all around them is part of the show that documents the Big Five, their life after PBB and the start of their showbiz careers. The rest of the C4 Boys and Rica are included in the show.

The show is expected to run for 5 to 6 weeks and it the ratings will soar then a second season may soon follow. Melason has limited contact with people and the outside world. They don’t have any cellphones or watches with them and they still live at the PBB House together with Johan, PJ and Tibo. I think the rest of the HMs know that they are on the Melason show. :) Let’s see how will this turn out.

OTHER HOUSEMATES

As per @TheodoreBoborol, Melason will still be part of 3 shows, Johan will be part of 2 other ABS-CBN shows, Tom is in next month’s Your Song and Princess will be in an indie film.

It’s not only the famous Melason who are going to have a new show at ABS-CBN. There’s a new show featuring some of our favorite Pinoy Big Brother Housemates.

A script reading was held earlier for a show featuring Paul Jake, Sam, Hermes, Rica, Cathy, Patria and Tom. I still don’t have the details of the show but here are some pictures which I got from PEx. Credits to the SamPaul thread. Thanks! More pictures can be found here.





Looks like they are really pairing Sam with Paul Jake, huh? What say you? I am okay with it but only for REEL since I really admire Paul Jake’s devotion to Denise for REAL.

The most popular love team of PBB Double Up is now a couple!

After 19 weeks of being cooped up inside Kuya’s house, Melisa and Jason have gone through a barrage of surprises and challenges. Who would have guessed that the Inday Kenkay of GenSan and the Boy Astig of Mindoro would end up together, for reel and for real?

Asked to define love by Mr. Boy Abunda, Melai replied that, “Love is like bubblegum. Kung madikit, makabuang!” (“When it sticks, it can make one go crazy!”) Indeed, crazy is one of the top synonyms for the Melason tandem, who have managed to make people everywhere go loco with laughter every time they go on-screen. Quite a lot of people – their own housemates, even – could not help but be skeptical about their blooming relationship. Some would say that Jason was a strategist, yet so many would rather go romantic and accept that Inday Kenkay did indeed soften Boy Astig.

Melisa and Jason just wanted to give the PBB thing a go. Neither expected to make it to the Big Night; neither imagined they would fall in love. Both were part of the first batch of housemates to enter the PBB house, but since they were billeted in separate houses, they had to wait before knowing of the other’s existence. After some time, Melisa was sent from House A to House B where Jason was, and the rest, as they say, is history. At first, it was a simply good rapport. The two had chemistry, and this good sense of each other’s comedic timing set the ground for solid friendship. They would bicker and banter like crazy, but their natural understanding of each other always managed to fix things in the end. They were each other’s hardest critic and staunchest supporter. They tried to steer clear of the romantic angle, but somehow they just gravitated towards each other. Before long, the tingles of young love could not be denied anymore, and the two took it in stride by continuing to enjoy the company of the other. Kuya himself joined in and completed their so-called family by presenting a doll version of their imagined “Baby Dengue”.

Once they got started on the romantic angle, though, things just kept on going. An arranged picnic had Jason declaring his feelings to Melisa. Their bond was tested, too, by the challenges brought by Bagyong Walay, Dengue’s custody case, and the TRO Melayo. One crucial person made an entrance as well: Melisa’s ex-boyfriend, Roy. After all those, Melason stood strong and ended the season with Jason taking the saying “shout it from the rooftop” literally. Boy Astig no more, Jason asked Kuya’s help and officially declaring his intent to court Melisa, with a marching band backing him up.

The Big Night declared Melisa and Jason as Big Winner and 3rd Big Placer, respectively. To the overwhelming response to their love team, both remained in awe. “Napakasarap ng feeling,” Jason shared on The Buzz. He was not expecting to be part of the Big 5, she could not believe how many people saw them through. Yet here they were, waving to their fans.

A gift to their fans was their announcement of being a couple. To boys who would want a chance with the Big Winner, she says, “May boyfriend na ako, si Jason.” The challenge of their relationship grows as they step out of isolation. Melisa already had a brush with reality when female fans snuck in hugs and smacks on her Jason. Jason revealed that Melisa shed a few tears over a particular pretty one, but he reassured her of his love for her and reminded her that they also had a responsibility to their fans. On their official day and first Valentine’s Day together, their fans had to come first again. Their day was full of TV appearances, ending in the Big Reunion back at Kuya’s house. It is not with small regret that Jason wished he could have given Melisa a Sponge Bob gift and a decent date, but that would have to wait.

Quick questions revealed some interesting tidbits:
1. Jason favors Melisa’s lips most.
2. Melisa’s favorite part of Jason is his shoulders.
3. Jason’s song for Melisa is “My Boo” while Melisa answered with “You Are the One”.
4. Jason: “Minamahal ko si Isay dahil siya ang aking buhay.”
5. Melisa: “Minamahal ko si Jason dahil siya ang aking inspirasyon”.

The new couple ended their visit with a kiss on the cheek, but no worries, this is far from the end of the Melason update!
